Adoption Myth Buster: What it Takes to Wake

Amazing article from adult adoptee & mother, Jennifer Lauk, on "waking up" as an adoptee. Her writing brought tears to my eyes as a fellow adoptee who has felt those familiar pangs of awakening during the traumatic birth and hospitaliz­ation of my own son. Separation from one's own mother as an infant brings life-long issues, no matter how much the adoption industry tries to deny it.

    So true, the adoption industry assisted by researchers and scientists, experts and advisors who think they know because the discount anectodal evidence.
